Whilst we have only been working together for a short period of time you have from day one been a very calming and reassuring part of our network. Both the YP and his parent have been very complimentary about the placement and recognise that you are trying to help him, which is a massive thing for both of them.
The placement feels very stable, and you are working hard to understand the young person behind the presenting behaviours. You are providing him with a stable and supportive home and work well with professionals.
Thank you for your continued support.
Just wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with Ultimate Care Support Services .They have been absolutely amazing in taking on one of my service user who had not had support for over 4 years! Through their flexibility and support with a gradual transition in place service user X is now settled and happy in their supported accommodation. The support staff are compassionate , attentive and truly gone above and beyond in getting X settled with mum having her first holiday ever for years !
The working relationship between the Team and I has been phenomenal. I have been kept up to date of things going on with my young person promptly.
The working relationship between the Team and my young person has been amazing. This is the first placement that my young person has really engaged well with staff caring for him; my young person has had several placements. Due to such a relationship, my young person is actually evidencing his independent skills, i.e, cooking, keeping his bedroom clean (never have I seen my young person’s bedroom clean in previous placements), etc. My young person takes pride in his home environment which is pleasing to observe. I believe this goes to show how settled he is, in return, staff are also giving him the platform to make this home “his home”.
The home setting is very welcoming. One of the things that really caught my eye is seeing a fruit bowl with all sorts of fruits that are for everyone in the home; be it my young person, those professionals coming in and staff. There are times that our young people chose not to buy any fruits due to very little money of their YPA.
It's such a pleasure to observe my young person thriving in this home environment; credit to the Team.
It is quite simple I would not have been able to care for X at home (which was her dear wish) without career Fand B. They were so reliable, thoughtful, compassionate, cheerful towards both X and myself and always included me in decision about her care plan, listening to any suggestions.
As a G.O.S trained nurse (albeit in the1950’s). I was taught high standard of care and both F, B and their helpers lived up to that.
It gave me more confidence knowing that they were coming in twice, then three times a day as if I needed urgent help. I know X felt more reassured that I as well as she was getting help. I have tried to fill in the form on a positive note, but it does not really express one’s feelings.
I am happy at my present placement at Ford Street. The house is beautiful and I like it. My manager is a polite person and he understands my needs . My manager has been doing a lot for me to ensure my welfare and safety and I recognize all of these because I am happy staying in a place like this where my welfare is considered important. My manager has also been encouraging me to be nice to everyone. My staff are respectful and have been supporting me in many ways especially in my efforts to acquire full independent skills. I admit that I have occasionally had some misunderstandings with some of my staff which resulted in me hurting them unintentionally and I have often apologized for hurting them and they are happy with me for recognizing my mistakes. I am grateful to the entire team for their support.
The treatment I receive from the management team as a care support worker is a reflection of ultimate care . It’s top-notch and very attractive. The attention and response given to staff/service user’s needs are highly satisfactory. The educational and emotional support I receive during training and meetings respectively as well as the friendly but professional communication that I have with the management when the need arises in addition to the splendor of the physical working environment provides a conducive and enabling atmosphere for me to work . I feel safe working for UCSS as my needs are met to my satisfaction and corrections conducted politely. nonetheless, this hasn’t stop management from discussing with staff and exploring avenues of sustaining standards in such a field that is highly competitive. I have also observed with great delight the efforts made by management in ensuring the safety and welfare of both the carer and the service user. All these and many other points not mentioned here in, makes me feel like working for UCSS till I get retired
The staff was very helpful and understanding.
Most homely placements, each tailored to suit residents. staff dedicated to deliver satisfaction.
